ISHE SMITH AND KENDALL HOLT ON ROPE A DOPE RADIO TONIGHT

This week’s edition of Rope A Dope Radio kicks off at the usual time, Join the panel to discuss this past weekend’s action or to share your views thoughts and opinions on the upcoming fights.

Special Guest Ishe Smith and Kendall Holt

Fresh off his great performance on the popular Showtime series ShowBox vs Prospect Ishe Smith (21-5-0, 9Kos) stops by the show for an In Depth Look at this career and the training camp leading up to his last fight.  Ishe will have the opportunity to discuss the referee, promoter, and the judge that helped lead the way to what was a very controversial outcome of the fight that had him on the losing end, against Fernando Guerrero (19-0-0, 15 Kos).

Also, veteran fighter Kendall Holt (25-4-0, 13 Kos) calls in to catch us up with his career and talk about his future plans.

Upcoming fight discussion

Juan Manuel Marquez squares off against Juan Diaz in a rematch of the 2009 fight of the year.  Daniel Jacobs will attempt to win his first major title when he faces Russian born Dmitry Pirog, for the vacant WBO middleweight title.

London born George Groves will appear on the card at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas, in only his eighth professional fight.  The 22-year-old is best known for his amateur win over the Olympic gold medallist James DeGale.  The move has gained Groves much respect within the boxing community; his Mexican opponent Alfredo Contreras has shared the ring with Sebastien Demers, Anthony Dirrell and David Lemieux.

Other names appearing on the action packed card includes; Joel Casamayor vs. Robert Guerrero, Jorge Linares vs. Rocky Juarez and Sakio Bika vs. Jean Paul Mendy.  Rope A Dope Radio will be hosting a post fight show, stay tuned for more details.
